Parasite - Controller

"Aim for the Parasite!"

Controllers are another member of the most dangerous group of Parasites, and one of the worst in general.

While naming one of the Parasites a "Controller" seems repetitious, it is the most suitable name for this creature. The Controller is around six feet long, most of which is taken up by it's long, bladed tail. While Controllers leaving the host body to do the same thing they would do inside it seems counter-productive, that is not their main goal. Controllers are much like any other "Out of Body Parasite" in that they are preparing to become a Xenotype, yet Controllers are still willing to control bodies, so they simply use another method. Controllers can mutate a host within seconds, creating horrifying, often skinless aberrations armed with a variety of piercing bladed weapons.

Of course, being outside the body means Controllers are fairly well armored, particularly towards the front, to reduce risk of damage from gunfire when the host body is used to assault armed soldiers. While their back isn't quite as well armored as their front, they make up for this with their dreaded tail which can easily slice through flesh at any range. Not to mention their most dangerous ability. If a target is pierced by the stinger on the Controller's tail, they are pumped full of a mutagenic substance, turning them into a minion for the Controller.
