"Where is your god now?"

Alex Kain (name still pending) is the leader of the "Great One" cult in the Metropolius section of the Megacity, his territory spanning almost 180 miles. Alex claimed his mind was touched by a "great power" and that "we are nothing more than specks of dirt in the wake of the Great One". This was almost a week before the creature known as the Krhashatha first attacked the city; this was the second time we had heard of the creature's latent telepathic abilities, but we had no idea they were this strong. To appease the creature, Alex committed heinous acts in its name, slaughtering officials and those who followed a religion other than that of his own. Soon he was joined by others, who also claimed they felt the power of the Great One. It wasn't long before he was the head of a massive cult, one that dominated with fear and hatred. And soon more popped up around the world. They waged war against other religions as well as the government, claiming that they would pave the way for their god.

It was then, in the midst of a heated firefight between them and the army, that the Krhashatha struck the city. Long story short, it killed many, but was struck by the ZEUS orbital cannon, and was presumed dead. Yet the cults persisted. This was the first sign something was wrong. It was only another week before the Krhashatha returned, a godly presence rising from the depths. It's assault on the city was devastating from the get-go, and at some point it began spewing Parasites and Xenotypes upon the populace. At some point, Alex was infested by a Parasite which mutated his body beyond recognition into a powerful new form. But rather than control him, it gave him free reign of the body, sensing his twisted personality and devotion to the Krhashatha. The Parasite eventually left him, and Alex took this as a sign from his god. Now, with a new body, he continues to lead his cult during the attack, eager to show non-believers the will of his god.
